Uniblock
Stakeholder Collaboration
Bringing together key stakeholders from product managers to developers to align on product goals and user needs. Through this collaborative goal setting, I gained a holistic understanding of the problem.
Stakeholder buy-in facilitated by this collaborative approach also ensured a smooth transition to development.
A Startup in Need of a Stronger Digital Presence
Uniblock is a collection of blockchain toolkits designed to accelerate and scale Web3 development.
In essence, Uniblock aims to be a one-stop shop for all your Web3 development needs, offering a streamlined and efficient approach to building and deploying decentralized applications.
Understanding Design Goals
Communicate to users the value of blockchain orchestration, the scope of APIs, partners, and protocols available to users in an efficient and cost-effective way, and convey a sense of trust and professionalism.
The first 5 seconds on the landing page will be an exciting experience where the user learns about the ways that Uniblock can help their application.
Visual Design
Prototype Highlight 01: Managing Intrinsic Load
Web3 is complex. I used a high signal-to-noise ratio layout to prevent users from hitting their working memory capacity immediately.
Prototype Highlight 02: Focus on Functionality
The website is designed to be easy to use and navigate, with clear calls to action and a focus on the user experience.
Prototype Highlight 03: Visual Hierarchy & Scanning Patterns
Restructured the information architecture to match natural eye-scanning patterns, ensuring the value prop is read before the friction point of choosing a plan.
Learnings
Simplifying the mental model of 'Blockchain Orchestration' directly correlates to higher time-on-site. The success of Uniblock’s landing page serves as a strong testament to the power of integrating user needs with business objectives through a thoughtful, collaborative, and visually compelling design process.
